Adam is a multi-faceted designer focusing on architecture, interiors, and fabrication, originally beginning his studio in January 2010. The studio planted its roots as a freelance outfit offering general design and fabrication as a response to the late-2000's economic downturn for design-lovers still looking for affordable design services. While the studio has taken many twists and turns over the years it remains focused on high quality design with an attention to detail and cost-consciousness for all clients.

Being born into a blue collar construction-trade family, Adam was raised around the construction industry in a small, rural, Western Kansas town. Throughout his childhood he spent much time drawing and building. It wasn't until highschool, however, that he began to truly immerse himself in the AEC industry learning advanced wood working skills, manual drafting, CAD, design, and basic engineering.

Entering the Architecture Department at then, top 10 ranked, Kansas State University, he procured his Master of Architecture degree in 2009. The course of study culminated with a thesis project exploring the idea of the Hospice House as a new building type and how it related into the world of death and society. '_hospice.house.untitled' became the working name for the project which was recognized by the faculty through nomination for the Heintzelman Award - an award for outstanding design work in the final year of study. During his time at the University he also had the opportunities to work with HOK Sport Venue Event (now Populous) as well as the award-winning TSK Architects of Henderson, Nevada.

Following commencement in 2009, the freelance design studio, offering services in the areas of graphic and web design, building conceptualization, schematic design, residential and furniture design, and the like was founded. At the time of its inception, the focus of the work included introducing cost-effective contemporary and sustainable design into the rural context of Western Kansas.

Since, Adam has had the opportunity to work with the top-tier faculty at Kansas State University - leading the Architectural Structures curriculum, as well as directing third year design studio, as well as with the prestigious local Kansas City firm of NSPJ Architects. At NSPJ Adam led a small team focused on building the firm's adaptive reuse portfolio and urban multi-family sectors. His work included the renovation of the iconic Power & Light Building in downtown Kansas City as well as the proposed Ashland at River Market project expected to begin construction mid-2020.
